How does Germany work with a Master’s Degree system
Masters programs in Germany are given in two different types of institutions. Two are state universities and diplomas in the same legal status; the difference is in academic approach.
Programs are also divided into two in terms of application logic:
- Consecutive programs are the direct continuation of a specific bachelor’s degree area. It is expected to cover your undergraduate curriculum with the program.
- Nicht programs are open to candidates with a different area or business experience. Part of this group is paid.
There is no central Master’s Degree application system in Germany. Each program has its own condition, its calendar and its own application channel. Therefore, the process is not the country program level should be planned.
