Choose the language of the programme first, then the admission route. The same course name may require a UNEDasiss score at one university and an additional examination or different documents at another. The official programme page is the starting point for the decision.

UNEDasiss assesses the documents and grades of applicants from foreign education systems for entry to Spanish higher education. The type of accreditation and the service required are chosen according to the target university.
A postgraduate application is made directly to the university. The diploma, transcript, course content, language evidence and a statement of purpose may be required. For foreign documents, the need for an apostille or legalisation and an official translation is checked against the programme and the procedure.

Reading the budget correctly
Public and private universities do not have the same fee structure. At public programmes the fee can vary by region, credits and programme type; private institutions set their own fees.
The choice of city changes the total budget noticeably. Rent, deposit, transport, health insurance, the visa and settling-in costs must be calculated separately from tuition.
Quoting a single nationwide tuition figure for Spain is misleading. The official price and refund page of your target programme is what counts.
Visa, residence and work
Studies longer than 90 days require a student visa. Admission, fee payment, health insurance, a criminal record certificate and sufficient financial means are assessed according to the application type.
Holders of a long-stay student permit may exercise the right to work as long as the work is compatible with their studies and does not exceed the weekly limit. The type of permit and the nature of the work must also be checked.
